Like fingerprints, each slab of granite or marble is different.
At Stone Innovations in Plover, Wisconsin, we have scores of stone slabs
set in our outdoor stone garden for you to walk through and select the
right stone for your countertops, bathroom vanities, fireplace surrounds,
table tops and shower walls. Your builder or designer will be happy to

Silestone/Engineered Stone
Another popular product, is 93-percent quartz, a natural stone. Only
diamonds, sapphires and topaz are harder. Silestone is non-porous — so
much so, that it need not be sealed. It is virtually maintenance free.
Other materials available at Stone Innovations include slate, limestone
and soapstone.
Granite
One of the hardest materials on earth. Granite is not manufactured, but
a product of nature. It is composed primarily of quartz, feldspar and mica.
The other minerals present create the special colors, textures and patterns.
Granite as countertop material excels in resistance to scratches, acids,
stains and heat. Yet, it creates a warm and inviting environment for your
kitchen and bath.
Marble
Made of Calcite, it is best used in the bath where the veining textures
and colors create exquisite designs. Note, however, marble is sensitive
to acidic foods, as well as some cleaners, mildew removers and other kitchen
or bath materials where the polished finish may be dulled.
